Lightning Arrow / Elemental Hit Deadeye is the 3.28 Mirage league starter and endgame mapper — Lightning Arrow chains lightning bolts between enemies for clear, while Elemental Hit of the Spectrum swaps in for single-target bossing. Mirage Archer clones fire alongside you for free extra damage.
Deadeye brings +2 projectiles, Far Shot (more damage at range), Tailwind, and Gathering Winds — one of the best Ranger ascendancies for pure bow mapping. Downsides: needs a skill swap between mapping and bossing, and defenses lean on evasion/spell suppression rather than raw armour.

Lightning Arrow chains lightning bolts between packed enemies for fast mapping, while Elemental Hit of the Spectrum swaps in for consistent single-target damage against bosses. Both share the same support setup and gear, so switching is just a gem swap.
Deadeye leans on evasion, spell suppression, and Far Shot positioning rather than raw armour. With correctly rolled rare gear it comfortably clears red maps and pinnacle bosses at range.
